Key Responsibilities

  • Perform general home repairs and maintenance.

Independent Contractor Opportunity

Independent contractors are responsible for their own:

  • Federal income tax obligations
  • Self-employment tax obligations
  • Business expenses
  • Insurance when applicable
  • Business registrations when applicable
  • Professional equipment
  • Other contractor responsibilities

JM Connect Services will provide the contractor with applicable tax documentation as required.

The contractor relationship will be governed by a separate written agreement.

The contractor is not eligible for W-2 employee benefits unless the relationship is later converted to an employee position. The actual classification of the relationship will be based on the applicable facts, contract and law.

    For W-2 positions, selected candidates will receive an employment offer. For independent contractor opportunities, selected candidates will receive a contractor agreement.

The applicable agreement will define compensation, responsibilities, work arrangement, employment or contractor classification, performance expectations, applicable policies and other applicable terms.
